Analysing Thriller Trailers - Introduction

I am going to look closely at two trailers for films from the thriller genre to help me understand the ways that genre conventions are used in trailers. I will focus on aspects of film language, taglines and other title cards, music and sound effects, character types, themes and narrative/plot details
