Potential Production Companies For 'Keep'

Potential Production Companies

I am going to look at five production companies that I will possibly use in my own film, for the idents in my trailers and the billing blocks (which are common conventions in both trailers and posters).

                                                            XYZ Films

XYZ Films was founded in 2008 by Aram Tertzakian, Nate Bolotin and Nick Spicer. It is an independent film production and sales company based in America. 'Greetings to the Devil' was their  first film, released in 2011.

A few thriller films XYZ have produced are 'Errors Of the Human Body' (2011), 'The Raid' (2012) and 'I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore' (2017). Since 2009 they have made over 200 films. I chose this production company because it's a good example of a small company that have become very successful and have made many films in my genre.

Magnolia Pictures

Magnolia Pictures is an independent film distributor and production company based in America. It was founded in 2001 by Bill Banowsky and Eamonn Bowles.

Their first film was a horror/mystery film called 'Wendigo', made in 2001. 'Headhunter' (2011), 'A Kind of Murder' (2016) and 'The Whistlers' (2019) are all examples of thriller films they've produced.

Warner Brothers

Warner Brothers is an American film entertainment studio. It was originally founded on the 4th of April 1923 by Sam Warner, Jack L. Warner, Harry Warner and Albert Warner. Their first film was called 'My Four Years in Germany' (1918).

A few examples of thriller films they have produced include 'The Prestige' (2006), 'Juror #2' (2024) and 'The Good Liar' (2019). I chose this production company because it is one of the biggest production companies, with a record of producing successful films in my genre.

Summit Entertainment

Summit Entertainment was founded in 1991 as The Summit Group by film producers Bernd Eichinger, Arnon Milchan and Andrew G. Vajna.

A few thriller films they have produced are 'Ricochet' (1991), 'Novocaine' (2001) and 'Gone' (2012).

A24

A24 is a film distribution and production company based in New York. It was founded in 2012 by Daniel Katz, David Fenkel and John Hodges. The first film they made was a comedy/drama film called 'A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III' (2012).

Three thriller films A24 have made are 'Enemy' (2013), 'Dark Places' (2015) and 'Under the Skin' (2013). I chose to look at A24 because they have a big variety of thriller films, made more recently than other companies such as Summit Entertainment.
